Since March 11, like so many people around the world, I’ve been spellbound by what’s been happening in Japan. Many friends have reached out to me, inquiring about me, about other friends in Japan, and about Bound in Japan. I’m grateful for the concern and support, and I would like everyone to know that I fully intend to proceed with the project.

The mission of Bound in Japan was relevant before the earthquake, and it will still be relevant after the country has stabilized. I am still planning to arrive in Japan this summer, but I am monitoring the situation there and will make adjustments as necessary.

I’ve been lax with posting in Japanese lately but will do my best to remedy that. I hope that friends in Japan and elsewhere will continue to connect with and support Bound in Japan.
