The Okayama Bound in Japan exhibition “a house is not a home” ended on Monday, October 10. For those of you who were not able to visit in person and for those of you who would like to reminisce, here are more photos of the exhibition.

I love how the cafe opens directly into the gallery. The moment you step through the door, you become a part of this encompassing environment.

A space within a space. Here, visitors can add their own definitions of home.

The book art made by workshop participants.

Visitors can also make their own book, to keep or to add to the exhibition. A single sheet of paper folded into a book titled 地球人の旅 (An earthling’s journey) where the maker can share a bit about their travels and places they have lived and visited.

Step by step instructions via pictures!

The exhibition statement. The left window houses the English text, the right window the Japanese. You can read the statement here.
