After a long and exciting journey, Bound in Japan has drawn to a close. This website remains as a record of the inspiration, activities, and outcomes of the project. Tiny seeds of arts and diversity outreach have been sown, and if you’re watching carefully, you may see them begin to grow and unfurl. Bound in Japan ends here, but the story continues.

If you are just discovering the project for the first time, you can learn more about Bound in Japan on the overview and past events pages as well as on the blog. And for those who are curious about my future projects, I’ll be posting updates via Twitter at @KieuLam.

Many thanks to all who have been a part of this journey and may our paths cross again.

Sincerely yours,
Kieu

Happy New Year!

2011 was a very productive year for Bound in Japan, and I’ll be doing a recap to kick off 2012. My presentation about Bound in Japan is the inaugural event of a new arts organization called SIFT (Sequence. Image. Form. Text.), co-founded by my good friend and fellow artist Yuka Petz along with Angela Driscoll.

The event is sponsored by and will take place at Press Street’s Antenna Gallery as part of their Happy Hour Salon on Thursday, January 26, 2012.

Come meet me in New Orleans and learn more about Bound in Japan!
